| The Company Peter Carpenter, founder of PRC Associates, is well known in the world of professional journal advertising. Peter moved into sales management with IPC Business Press in 1970. Two appointments as Advertisement Director with smaller publishing houses followed. He returned to IPC (now Reed Business Information) as Advertisement Manager of British Farmer and Stockbreeder. With a team recruited from some of the best London agencies, Peter started PRC Associates in June 1983 to deploy his expertise in publishing and advertisement management. The Company has grown steadily and has established a particular reputation in the medical and scientific fields, selling advertisement space throughout the world. Oxford University Press appointed PRC Associates in 1991 to represent
a number of medical and scientific journals. Their success in increasing
the advertising revenue led to more journals being handed over to PRC
and they now represent all the medical, scientific, mathematics and computing
journals published by Oxford University Press in the UK and America. |
